talks by Prof. Padmanabhan Krishna
On behalf of Bay Area J Krishnamurti Dialogue Group and Ojai Retreat Group,It is my honor and a privilege to invite you to a series of talks by Prof. Padmanabhan Krishna.
At a time when the world appears to find an end to the pandemic that has consumed us for over two years, we the human beings are at war with each other. Directly or indirectly every one of us is involved in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
The wailing of young mothers with their cries of suffering, having lost their small children and husbands in the war, hovering over the skies in Ukraine...the destruction and devastation that is taking place.... all of this hurts not just the Ukranians, the Russians, the neighboring countries but also the rest of us. Directly or indirectly every one of us is involved in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. The security of humanity as a species is threatened.
Though J. Krishnamurti's teachings do not offer an immediate solution, the current conditions are a wake-up call for all of us and demand us to investigate the possibility of a conflict free world.
